It is again the end of the year!  I have been communicating with relatives, receiving and sending cards and preparing a Christmas dinner for my family; we have also been busy preparing many New Year celebrations for orphan and poor children with our Foundation. We are preparing to greet the New Year as well, presents, more celebrations, preparing for a English camp in the winter Holydays and my daughter Natalia, and mother and father in law have birthdays this month as well, it has been … a busy season!

Trough it all, I have been also thinking what it all really means: Love is all about giving. Giving is not merely an act of love; it is the essence of love. There is no true love without giving. There is no true love without sacrifice. This is the true spirit of Christmas—giving, caring, and sharing. Giving always costs, but giving is always richly rewarded. Those who sacrificially give of themselves find the greatest fulfillment.
Is also a time to think about all I have received this past year and all that I have: The love of a wonderful wife and children, a home, support of loving friends, meaningful work, dreams that came true, health and many other good things in my life.
Is also a good time to think of others, the love we have shared, the people we have helped and the good we have done. Then think about all the things we have, the blessings and comforts and things that made our lives enjoyable. Then think about the future, the dreams we have, the plans we want to fulfill, the work we want to do and the things we want to accomplish.
But most of all, think about loving the people close to you, family, friends, coworkers and finally, loving even the ones you don’t know, but meet in your every day life, the drivers, the waiters, the cleaners, all the little people that are responsible to do all the little things that makes our everyday life comfortable, and remember that even just a word, a smile or a small kind deed, can change someone’s life and give them hope for a better year in 2015. Start the chain of love…love someone…..today! Happy New year!
